Coho salmon has rich, reddish-orange meat, with delicate flavor and firm texture. It is low in saturated fat and an excellent source of Omega-3 fatty acids.
Coho are the second largest of the five wild salmon species. These coho are caught by trolling, and are an excellent choice for grilling, broiling, sauteing, roasting, poaching, steaming or smoking.
The salmon will be filleted with the skin-on, pinbone-in. The portions will be between approximately 8 to 16 ounces each and vacuum sealed individually. The fish will be delivered to you fresh, caught within 48 hours of delivery. The fish may be frozen in the vacuum seal packs, or eaten fresh!
